Enea Group has joined entities that provide selfless help to those in need. The Enea Foundation will donate PLN 300,000 to the Lublin branch of Caritas Polska to help families from Ukraine. Every day there are more and more people looking for a safe haven outside the Ukrainian state. Therefore, the Enea Group will make its holiday centers available to those who have been forced to leave their homes.
“It is our duty to help our Sisters and Brothers, Ukrainians and Ukrainians. Enea Group employees all over Poland are involved in fundraising events organized by cities, non-governmental organizations and other institutions. We provide our holiday centers where Ukrainian families fleeing the cruelty of war will find shelter, incl. in Pogorzelica, Dziwnów, Sieraków, Zdroisko or Kozienice. That’s about 400 places. Through the Enea Foundation, we will also donate funds to Caritas Polska, which will allocate them to help the victims of the Russian military operations. We cannot be indifferent to the evil that has so brutally and aggressively conquered the world just beyond our eastern border,” emphasizes Paweł Szczeszek, president of Enea.
The Enea Group will also make part of its car fleet available to ensure the transport of Ukrainian families to organized places of stay and support.
In addition, in the area of the Enea Group’s operations, in companies located all over Poland, collections of the now most needed things are taking place. The gifts will go to the needy through the Polish Red Cross.
Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka, belonging to the Enea Group, also joins the aid. The mine is based in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, where the refugees go first. In agreement with the services of the Lublin voivode, Bogdanka is launching a temporary point in one of its facilities, where 30-40 people will receive a roof over their heads and food. The mine is collecting gifts, donors and employees who are ready to welcome Ukrainian families to their homes join the campaign.
