Supernova started renovation works on Kaptol Center in Zagreb. The Austrian real estate company is planning to invest €15m in the project. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2020. The shopping center’s shops, restaurants and cinema will stay open during the renovation. Supernova opened its first shopping center in Croatia in Zadar in 2010. Four years later, it opened the Supernova Zagreb Buzin shopping park. The company quickly expanded its Croatian retail portfolio in the following years, acquiring a €70m retail park portfolio in 2016 and taking over a shopping center portfolio a year later for €60m. It bought Supernova Cvjetni in Zagreb in a separate transaction for €50m in 2017.
