Lidl broke ground on a new location in Brasov. The store is going up on a site that used to the former Poiana factory on A.I. Cuza. The land covers 13,000 sqm and in addition to the Lidl store will also accommodate a hotel and a conference center. The land was acquired by Lidl three years ago for €2m, but the German discount retailer just recently secured permission to start construction.
