Carrefour has opened its second supermarket in Iasi, in northeast Romania, and its 49th in the country.
The new supermarket, which is located on the grounds of the Hala Centrala, has 60 employees and has a selling space of approximately 800 sqm.
It sells about 5,500 products out of which over 1,000 are Carrefour private labels.
In January this year,
Carrefour has opened its first supermarket in Iasi, in the Iulius Mall shopping center. Carrefour also runs two of its 25 hypermarkets in Iasi.
