According to CBRE report “Poland Retail Market View Q4 2014” the retail property market is dominated by small retail formats located in cities with a population of 200 000, rents remain stable, while international brands entering the Polish market tend to choose Warsaw. The total stock of retail space in 2014 amounted to 425 000 sqm, which represents a drop of 30% as compared with the level reached in 2013. As at the end of Q4 2014, there have been 770 000 sqm of modern retail space still under development.
