Crestyl will open its new Central Jablonec shopping center in northern Bohemia on Friday. The project is located between Generála Mrázka and Máchova streets in the city of Jablonec and replaces the old Jabloň department store, two parking lots and a market. The developer started working on the project in 2008, but progress slowed following the economic recession. The situation on the property market led to downsizing the shopping center by around 25 percent to its current 13,000 sqm cut into 70 units. The director of the center, Aleš Stupka, believes 90 percent of the retail space will be leased by the opening.
