The AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest had over 2 million visitors in December who spent a total of €26m, according to Capital.ro. In 2012, the shopping mall had total sales of €201.5m, up 10.8 percent, compared with 2011.
In the first 9 months of last year, the company’s rent revenues amounted to some €19m, up 10 percent year-on-year. AFI Palace Cotroceni was the only mall in Bucharest which remained open between December 25 and January 1.
