The retailer Dedeman, controlled by the brothers Adrian and Dragoş Pavăl, opened a store in Braşov, following an investment of EUR 19 million, this being the first opening this year. The next Dedeman store to be opened this year is in Bârlad. The built area of the new store is 17,700 sqm, of which about 3,000 sqm are allocated to the greenhouse.
The store has a photovoltaic power plant which, once it is put into operation, will generate electricity intended exclusively for self-consumption through the solar panels mounted on the roof of the store. The total installed power is about 400 kWp.
The Dedeman network includes 58 stores, 5 logistics centers, its own fleet, over 60,000 home and garden products and over 12,800 employees.
