Scandinavian furniture retailer JYSK opened a new store in Valenii de Munte, Prahova County. This is the company’s 69th location in Romania and its first in a city with less than 15,000 inhabitants. The new store cover 1,000 sqm. For the financial year 2017/2018, JYSK Romania reported €103m in business, up 33 percent from the previous financial year. Gross profit before taxes were also up 23 percent, totaling RON 67m.
