KPD, Exafin selling Czech retail parks worth CZK 1.5bn

10 May 2017

KPD Group and Exafin want to offload some of the retail parks they developed across the Czech Republic. Shopping parks in České Budějovice, Vinoř and Úvaly along with the recently completed Stará plynárna shopping center in Kolín are among the 15 projects in the CZK 1.5bn portfolio, writes the server e15. Billa is the anchor tenant in these retail parks. Knight Frank is brokering the sale, which has reportedly attracted interest from both local and international investors. This is KPD and Exafin’s second exit, following the recent sale of Ahold’s Czech headquarters in Prague-Nové Butovice. Meanwhile, work is underway on additional retail parks in Vestec and Šestajovice, outside Prague. The developers also completed a shopping park in Prague 11, which includes the headquarters of the Iceland food chain.
