The building that houses the Luxor World cinema in Cheboksary has been sold for RUB 90m. The buyer of the property will have the choice of leaving the current function as it is, or changing it to meet any need. Some of the proposed future uses for the building has been for retail, a hotel or offices. The total area of the two-storey building, constructed in 1961, is over 1,100 sqm. It was put on sale in January 2015, but no buyers for the asset were found until now.
