Having recently exited its flagship Riviera fashion mall in Gdynia, Mayland Real Estate revealed plans to complete another 150,000 sqm of new retail space. The plans include the Serenada retail center now under construction (and 70 percent leased) in Kraków, as well as new development projects in Warsaw, Rzeszów, Zabrze and Wrocław. The developer says that the renovation of Warsaw’s Fort Wola, an 80,000 sqm project, remains crucial for the company’s strategy this year.
At the same time, Mayland plans to expand Platan retail center in Zabrze to 32,000 sqm of retail space, while launching a new retail development in Wrocław and a 50,000 sqm retail park in Rszeszów. The company’s Polish portfolio includes retail centers in Opole, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Słupsk and Gdyni.
