Following a bitter conflict between Real and Mayland Real Estate that took place a few weeks ago, a new tenant is considered to replace the French retailer in the Jantar shopping mall in Słups. Mayland’s Vice-President Yann Guan isn’t commenting on the matter at the moment, but he says that there are a lot of companies that would be interested in taking Real’s place. Discussions over the legal issues regarding Real’s leaving the mall are currently underway, says Guan, with the result of the negotiations to be disclosed this Autumn.
Real broke the lease with Mayland on the grounds of extension works that were carried out on the facility. Real complained that new curbs that were built at the center were too high as they made it difficult to operate their store.
