The GBP 19m expansion of the Clifton Moor Shopping Park in Yorkshire is scheduled for completion this fall. British Land and Tesco, the UK’s second largest investment trust, said the shopping center’s new wing, which will include five units, is now fully pre-leased. New tenants include Wren Living which signed a 10-year lease on 1,570 sqm; DFS signed a 15-year lease on 1,393 sqm and Harvey’s signed a 10-year lease on 1,347sqm. Oak Furniture Land also signed a 10-year lease on 743 sqm, while the Scandinavian furniture and homewares brand JYSK took 696 sqm on a 10-year lease.
“The extension at Clifton Moor Shopping Park is part of our ongoing improvement works across our UK portfolio. We are delighted to have fully pre-let the space and to expand our relationship with a number of well-established operators,” Duncan Reader, asset manager at British Land said in a statement.
