The Masovian District Branch of the Polish Red Cross (PCK) was given 2,400 sqm of warehouse space at its disposal. There are plans to double the donated space. The facility was made available free of charge by the Polish Red Cross to help refugees from Ukraine.

Peakside Capital Advisors and Partners Group have handed over a warehouse in the City Point Targówek facility to the Mazowiecki District Branch of the Polish Red Cross. The aid organization can use 2,400 sqm of logistics space free of charge. Ultimately, it is planned to double the space provided.

Roman Skowroński, managing director of Peakside Capital Advisors in Poland, comments, “We all see the enormity of the tragedy beyond our eastern border. We want to support a wide and spontaneous aid campaign for Ukrainians as far as we have resources. That is why we have decided to hand over the free warehouse space for use to the Mazovian branch of the Polish Red Cross. Necessary clothes and food are delivered to many places, but to facilitate the organization of the provided help, it is necessary to store them, pack them and transfer them efficiently to those in need.”

“The support shown by Peakside Capital Advisors and Partners Group is invaluable in the current activities of our organization. The provision of such a large warehouse space will allow the Polish Red Cross to accept large amounts of products from Poland and abroad. This will translate into long-term assistance to people staying in Warsaw, as well as planning transports to Ukraine,” said Honorata Krzywoń, Director of the Mazovian Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Warsaw.

City Point Targówek is located at ul. Matuszewska 14 in the Warsaw district of Targówek.
