19 February 2018

The opening of the Promenada shopping mall in Novi Sad has been set for December 5. With more than 50,000 sqm of GLA, it will be the largest shopping mall in Serbia and one of the largest in the region. NEPI Rockcastle paid a reported €30m for the 33,000 sqm plot of land in Novi Sad at the corner of Boulevard Oslobodjenja and Boulevard cara Lazara. That made it the largest payment to the city’s budget in 2016. The mall, expected to worth a €100m, will offer 150 stores and will employ about 1,500 people. The center will also offer a cinema, fitness center and other entertainment across four floors and 1,500 parking spaces in an eight-floor garage. The design of the center was elaborated by the Djordje Bajic Arhitekti design studio. NEPI Rockcastle owns the Plaza shopping center in Kragujevac and in Krusevac plans to start building a retail park this year.
