Rohlik.cz has decided to provide assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war and is donating 1% of its turnover, with immediate effect until the end of February. In addition, in its online store, it will offer its customers the opportunity to purchase a charity voucher in cooperation with Donio to support the people affected by the war in Ukraine.
Rohlík CEO Olin Novák adds: “When we shared a contribution on our social networks expressing support for the Ukrainians, it never occurred to us that two days later the country would actually be at war and we would answer journalists’ questions about the military summons of our Ukrainian colleagues. That’s why we decided to respond immediately and donate 1% of our turnover to the war-affected Ukrainians, and we offer our customers the opportunity to help quickly and efficiently the account of the non-profit organization Ukrainian Tradition in the Czech Republic, which is currently looking for the most suitable ways to help Ukrainians.”
Rohlík further informs that it offers his Ukrainian colleagues the opportunity to make calls from their business phones, which they can borrow. It will also give business partners who employ Ukrainian citizens the benefit of advance payments or immediate remuneration, so that Ukrainians have greater financial security or, if they need funds for the immediate departure or repatriation of their families.
Rohlik.cz constantly monitors the actions of the Czech government and continuously evaluates any changes and acquaints its employees and business partners with them. There are still many other ideas on the table to help and support Ukrainian and Ukrainian nationals. The croissant is a place for everyone, regardless of nationality.
