The Central Statistical Office (KSH) has announced that the volume of retail sales in August has only dropped by 0.7% compared to 2019. At the same time the turnover of textiles, clothing and footwear dropped by 8.4%, and second-hand shops saw a 17% drop. KSH noted that there was a rise in online ordering by 28%, but that sector still only covers a small portion of the market (6.6%).
