Veranda, Bucharest’s newest shopping center, reported 150,000 visitors on its opening weekend. The center opened Oct. 27, following a €60m investment.
“We were very much involved in delivering a modern and complementary project in the area as to better serve the community in Obor. The more than 150,000 people who have already visited us validated our efforts. We were expecting a large number of visitors at the launch, but these figures exceeded all of our expectations, and we thank everyone who has joined us,” said Andrei Pogonaru, of Professional Imo Partners, the project’s developer.
Veranda offers approximately 30,000 sqm of retail space as well as a 15,000 sqm green area.
