Zalando is opening its newest outlet store in Hamburg at Poststrasse 9, near the city’s Grosse Bleichen. It’s the fifth such outlet the German online giant has opened. The new store will cover more than 1,200 sqm, offering around 15,000 products from 500 different designers, including high street names and Zalando’s own house brands. The company promises discounts of up to 70 percent. Zalando is using outlets to sell off items it can’t move online anymore because they don’t have the item in enough sizes, or in case of product defects. The Design in Architektur studio prepared the design, continuing its cooperation which began with Zalando’s Cologne store.
